So its been 5 weeks since we started our new job. This is so different than what we did before. Our terminal is in Denver, so we leave out every Sunday and run a route of approx. 5000 - 6000 miles back east...CT, FL or NY so far...all along the way we make deliveries, we haul food now with a reefer (refridge/frozen). Once we make our deliveries, we start picking up product to haul back to Denver where our warehouse re- distributes it to our west coast customers. 4 weeks on, 1 week off. It's been pretty crazy, but I think we might like this....everybody eats food, hard not to run miles when people need to eat. Other commodities may slow down with this economy, but everyone in the world eats!
Our 3 rd week we delivered into Boston...literally right on the water. Neither one of us had ever been there, what a pretty city. Would love to spend more time there.
